The experience of Super Delux Room

I booked Super Delux Room online from Akash Website. I was alotted Room No. 102. Unfortunately it turned out to the worst possible room. The Delux Room is much better than it. Room does not have a proper table and chair. The light from the Bathroom is comming into the bedroom. Bathroom door does nt close. It has big gap. The Comode in the Bathroom is very old and stained.

I had a booking for two nights at Akash hotel. The first reason for choosing the hotel was its proximity to the rail station as per Google map on MMT, which turned out to be a hoax. It was a good two kilometres from it. It was in fact opposite to the Bus stand. The room provided was in a shabby condition and was not clean, we had to call reception to get the linen changed as it had stains on them - was not changed. The bathroom lock was broken and had live wires near the toilet seat. Thankfully the AC did work and the cable did not dissapointed.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of Purulia town. But this has its own disadvantages also. You can always hear traffic sound in the road facing rooms. The rooms are clean and tidy. But there is a peculiar system with the geyser. We travelled during winter, so geyser was a must. We had booked 2 rooms. In one of the rooms, the geyser was not working. When we asked to repair it, they said that the geyser was fine. Actually, the geyser was connected to the next room, and if the geyser in the next room was on, this room will also get hot water. Well, this was peculiar. Since we had 2 adjacent rooms, it was fine, but I don't know what they would say if some other person stayed in the other room. The room service too was mediocre. We had asked for black tea, but was served milk tea. But the service was prompt. The restaurant below was good. The location is the best part of this hotel.

We stayed in deluxe ac room of hotel Akash, Purulia for one night from 10th to 11th March, 2018. Location of the hotel is at the heart of the town. The hotel looks good from outside. It has its own restaurant. The room service was excellent. But the room as well as the washroom was just 'ok' type. The 'wow' feeling was missing there. Rooms were spacious though.There was a smell inside the room. But it quickly vanished on spraying a room freshner by the service boy. The food was delicious with moderate price. Overall, a good staying option in Purulia.

This is located in the centre of the town. I shall like to mark this as an average hotel because the maintenance is not up to the mark. I chose to stay here just because it had a car parking space, though unruly bikers encroach it too well. The room was fair but the restaurant served good foods.
